of his villas would have been located on the Ausone
domain, according to the owner Alain Vauthier.
Ausone... a singular domain, a single domain
in its exceptional situation: perched on the hillsides
of Saint-Emilion, under the medieval walls of the
city, a small vineyard of 7 ha whose age is 50 years
on en average.
Ausone... of the wines often called "wines
of the poet": smoothness, elegance and power.
